There seems to be something about Ubuntu 12.04 and PyLotRO -- authentication doesn't complete.
Any idea what is happening?

Ubuntu released with an updated version of the library that handles tls validation. But it defaults to tls 1.2 and wasn't falling back to 1.1 if that request was invalid, there is meant to be a fix either released or due for release. It is fixed in the next version of Ubuntu that is in development so the fix should be out. I did have the bug number, I'll dig it out and check the status. Sadly PyLotRO was just one of many apps caught by the bug.
Actually I don't see why the windows version of pylotro should be playing up though as it shouldn't be using that bugged library.
The bug report is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssl/+bug/965371 but I still can't see why the windows version of PyLotRO fails unless it is an underlying WINE/CX issue as well.
Thanks. Cross referenced post back to LOTRO forum.
