Description:
IBM's Host Connectivity package for the iSeries or i5. It included a 5250/Telnet Application that was and still is call Personal Communications, an ODBC Client, and the most important part: iSeries Navigator, which is an adminsitration tool that is 180 degrees from the green screen most Admins are used to. It's a wonderful GUI application that makes Adminsitration of the iSeries easy and sometimes better than using a telnet session.
Navigator is the one peice that does not work well at this point in Crossover Office and we are looking to figure out why?

How does it Work?
Known not to workThese sort of applications either do not install and/or run, for any of a number of reasons. We suggest you don't even try to use them on the current version of CrossOver. However, it never hurts to check back to see if it will run under future versions of CrossOver: Wine continues improving all the time, and even badly broken applications will sometimes "magically" start working as Wine continues to evolve. |
