The game won't install on my Mac, because the installer needs administrator rights. Does someone know how to give CrossOver more rights (temporarily)?

Try manually creating the "Battlefield 3" folder inside the "Origin Games" folder. (Usually in "Program Files".) This gets around the installation rights error on Wine.
