Here's The Deal: You want a trial version of our software to try out. And you want it right away. We're going to give it to you. But there are some simple catches:
- We ask for a valid email address. Fair's fair. We're going to use that address to A) email you download links and other useful info on the trial version, and B) to politely follow up with you in 7 days to see if you liked the software. That's it; no spam, no hassles, no selling your name to the government.
Nothing lasts forever, and neither does your trial version. It will work for 7 days, and please be aware, too, that during that time it will politely remind you that it is a demonstration copy. Thereafter, if you like it and want to keep using it, you need to square up with us and buy a copy. Again, fair's fair.
What you can expect from CrossOver:
- Our software should install simply and easily for you.
- You should be able to easily install and operate any supported Windows game -- see here for a list of supported games.
- If your game is not on the list of supported games, your mileage will vary - see the next section for further advice.
What to do if there are problems:
- If you would like to use software that is not on our supported list, we encourage you to visit our Compatibility Center to see what others have found about your game.
- We are very interested in supporting further games, but it is hard work, so we can only do it for single users that band together or for organizations that have a fairly significant number of users. Contact our sales department if you would like to discuss supporting your game.
What we Expect from you:
- If it works well for you, we would obviously like to have you purchase a license. If it doesn't work, we'd instead be interested in learning what you need in order to make a license worthwhile.
- Please share this software only with others in your organization. If, for whatever reason, the software is not a fit for you, we do require that you delete it from your system after the 7-day evaluation period has expired.
