Ongoing Support

The application is now running the way you want it. You have a new, full-fledged Mac or Linux app in your product suite. But what happens if you rev your product? Likewise, what happens when Wine changes (which it inevitably will)? We can handle that, too.

Typically, a port comprises a pairing of a specific version of your product and a specific version of Wine. We can preserve your target Wine for as long as is needed, of course. However, as your application changes, or Wine is improved in such a way that it offers new features (better browser or .NET support, for instance), you may want to take advantage of these advances. If we're lucky, there may be little or no work involved. Of course, in some cases an additional services engagement may be necessary to bring the application set up to currency. The good news is, though, that in most cases, having gone through the hard work to get the main application running in the first place, these follow-on engagements are typically much quicker and less expensive.
