The users tab allows you to view and manage users of CrossOver on a system. This tab is only available when running as root on systems that were installed as Managed multi-user mode.
The main feature of this tab is a table of CrossOver users on the system. The User and Home Directory columns describe these users. If a given user has active CrossOver processes running, their Active label will be set to "yes".
Some users may have installed their own Windows applications, or they may have installed CrossOver themselves in their user directory. These users will appear as having a "private" environment; this means that the users tab cannot manipulate their CrossOver settings.
Update user list. Clicking this button will reread all user settings on the system. This could take quite a while if you are in an NIS or LDAP environment
Update active status. Clicking this button will refresh the Active column in the users table.
Reset. Resetting a user will stop all of that user's running CrossOver processes. This tool may be useful for users that have misbehaving or unresponsive CrossOver applications active. Clicking this button will cause a user to lose all unsaved work.
Delete CrossOver Data. This option will delete any stub bottles in a user's account. Stub bottles contain settings and changes that a user has made relative to a managed bottle. This is sometimes useful for troubleshooting, and may be necessary if you upgrade CrossOver or Windows software. This option should be used with caution
