Before the client packages can be created, you will need to select the platforms on your network and answer a few questions.
Server hostname. In most cases, this field will already contain the correct name of your server. If your network setup requires you to specify a full machine address (e.g. "crossover.codeweavers.com" rather than simply "crossover") or an IP address you should specify it here.
Write package to. This field allows you to specify where you would like to write the client software. Click on the ... button for a graphical directory selector.
Require passphrase for user connections. If left unchecked the server will create an ssh key that lets users log in on the server without entering a password. This provides users with a very seamless experience. If enabling passwordless ssh connections concerns you, you can check this box. This will cause the server to create ssh keys that require a passphrase. In that case users will have to enter the passphrase the first time they use the client. After this ssh will retain the user's credentials until he logs out.
Linux (RPM packages). This option will produce a self-extracting RPM installer and a pair of Linux RPMs. You will have an opportunity to install these RPMs on a client machine during the next step of the wizard. For other installation options consult the last section of this chapter.
Solaris Package. This option will produce a self-extracting installer and a pair of Solaris packages. You will have an opportunity to install these packages on a client machine during the next step of the wizard. For other installation options consult the last section of this chapter.
Linux (Graphical installer). This option will produce a simple executable installer that will guide you through the configuration process, step by step. You may want to select this option if you have Linux systems in your network without RPM facilities. The automatic install option (on the next panel) will not be available for this type of installer.
