Just curious, why do I not have the "desktop integration" section in the advanced settings section?
I'm interested in the "Launch all .exe using crossover" section.

If you installed as root and are running in managed multi-user mode you will need to run CrossOver setup again as root to access all of the features and make certain changes.
Thanks

It was installed in /opt/cxoffice by root. I ran cxsetup as myself
(non-root). Do I need to run cxsetup as root to access that feature? How
do I make that feature available to a non-root user? How do I turn it off
if I need to? Having to login as a root user to make this each each time I
need to seems a bit tedious.

Those settings are global to all users so it has to be configured by root. Which setting do you need to be able to change on a per-user basis? The *.exe support?
Thanks

What the 'Run executable files with CrossOver' feature does is create an association between *.exe files and CrossOver. Once that association is created as root, it is effective for all users. This is why this option is not shown in the configuration tab of non-root users when CrossOver is installed as root.
