Enabling RPC over HTTP support for Outlook

CrossOver, by default, installs Outlook into a 'Windows 2000' bottle.

That provides the best results for operating Outlook.

However, the RPC over HTTP feature is only enabled if the
version reported to Outlook is 'Windows XP'.

So, we recommend the following steps to enable RPC over HTTP:

#Install Outlook into a clean Windows 2000 bottle, but do not start Outlook
#Start the CrossOver Bottle Manager (On the Mac, it's CrossOver...Configure..Manage Bottles; on Linux, it's the 'CrossOver Configuration' program; pick a bottle and select 'configure')
#Start the 'winecfg' utility to switch version to Windows XP. Winecfg can be launched from the 'Control Panel' tab. Once you start the winecfg utility, you need to switch the reported Windows version from Windows 2000 to Windows XP and save the change.
#Start Outlook, and configure RPC over HTTP as you would under Windows, which should be something like this: Click the 'More Settings' button. If prompted for a password, click Cancel. Navigate to the Connection tab. Check the 'Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP' option and click the 'Exchange Proxy Settings' button.
