CodeWeaversTM Signs Technical Partnership Agreement with Cendio

SAINT PAUL, MN - (February 16, 2005) -

CodeWeavers and Cendio have signed a technological partnership agreement in order to ease the transition from Windows towards a more stable Linux platform

CodeWeavers CrossOver platform enables applications written for Microsoft Windows to run on a Linux system. Cendio will certificate CrossOver Office for their terminal server product ThinLinc.

Easier transition from Windows to Linux

"CrossOver Office makes the final phase of integration between the different platforms in an IT ecosystem complete," says Peo Moosberg, CEO of Cendio. "The combination of ThinLinc and CrossOver Office makes it easier for IT managers to finally migrate from Windows towards Linux step by step. The transition will be smoother since the users won't lack any functionality during the process."

"CodeWeavers believes in the inherent power of the thin-client computing model," says Jeremy White, CodeWeavers CEO. "We are convinced that integrating CrossOver technology with a leading-edge solution like ThinLinc is a powerful way of enabling the migration to Linux. This combination provides the Windows interoperability that Linux users need, while significantly enhancing the manageability of their client desktops. We are looking forward to working with Cendio to realize this comprehensive vision."
