Here are the steps that I followed to get 9dragons to run till Gameguard kicks-in. First, I downloaded the setup file from 9dragons web site and installed it through the configuration window. After it was installed I went to the 'run window command' in the start menu. I, then, went and found 'NDLUANCHER.EXE' and ran it. Next, click on options and change it to 'IE Downloader 2'. After that, close and restart 'NDLAUNCHER.EXE', it will then update to version 86 and you will be able to press start. After you push start GameGuard will patch and then the game will try to run. Then it will give you a 'GameGuard execute error:114', and then an 'Xkernal error' which says,'can't create triplex core'.

Gameguard is known not to work with crossover (yet) -- some say it will
never work, because it's so low-level it actually requires a running windows
kernel to operate...just FYI (;
