Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Forum

Hi all.

got dw cs4 to install by following the instructions for cs3 at
http://maketecheasier.com/how-to-install-dreamweaver-cs3-in-ubuntu-hardy/2008/06/20

and then following the instructions at wineHQ
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14343&iTestingId=48158&sAllBugs

it works so far but not tested. I think the important missing links were install the winetricks so the accept license will appear.

I have followed the instruction here:

to install Dreamweaver CS4. However I'm not being successful with importing the regkey.

"recode ucs-2..ascii dreamweaver.reg" fails with:
recode: dreamweaver.reg failed: Untranslatable input in step `ISO-10646-UCS-2..ANSI_X3.4-1968'

I've read in a few place to not worry about the recode and import it anyway, however what is the correct command to import?
"wine regedit dreamweaver.reg" certainly doesn't work.

I did add atmlib.dll as per these instructions:

however I did not add winetricks.

Here's what's happening so far: Dreamweaver opens! However shortly after I get a popup entitled "ATM Subsystem Failure" with error: 147:20 - which I believe relates to the licensing.

Looks to me like I'm very close and would appreciate any advice to get past this hurdle.
