I came across this and thought it might be helpful for someone else. It's not really specific to FrameMaker, but I found it after installing FrameMaker.
After installing FrameMaker 7.1 and starting it, I got the error message:
"There are no fonts available on the printer. Cannot start FrameMaker."
After some debugging, I figured out that the wineps driver can't find any fonts. After noodling on it for a bit, I considered that I haven't installed a printer. I installed a SMB network printer. After that, the error goes away.
