Hmm, I can get as far as a nice black screen.

Install Anno 1404 into an XP bottle. During installation. After installation, go to manage bottles, open winecfg. Add dbghelp.dll & anno1404.exe as overrides, and select Edit->Native (Windows). You'll need to patch Anno1404.exe with a No-CD version. The game should start now, but all I could see was a black screen with sounds.
