I managed to get the game to run, kind of, by removing the logo.avi that plays when you launch the game. It displayed as a black screen anyway. However, the menu screen for the game features a double image of the graphics: one right side up, one upside down, both rapidly flickering back and forth. I seem to recall this kind of bug being due to a flaw in Apple's code, so we may have to wait a while to see this fixed.
Well, some graphics bugs are due to problems with Apple's drivers, but certainly not all. This one strikes me as likely to be our bug rather than theirs. Unfortunately, I don't know anything more about it than that.
We're rebels. We're misfits. But mostly, we're software liberators. And we're very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.
