I tried City of Heroes on Crossover Games for Mac 7.0.0. It launches, but unfortunately is unable to render the opening screen. It shows a black screen and plays audio, and the controls work...too bad you can't see what you're doing.

Tried CoH on both a Mac Pro (MacPro1,1 with Radeon X1900) and a MacBook (MacBook3,1). On the MacPro the game installs, launches, and allows you to log on to pick server and toon but fails to get past the loading zone screen. It plays audio before locking up the MacPro.
On the MacBook it installs and plays but it is missing much graphic details since many of the shaders are not working, due to either incomplete Apple drivers for the GMA X3100 or Wine's support of the same.
CoH seems to be an OpenGL game. Graphics wise this is a 1:1 passthrough from the game to the Apple drivers, so every rendering problem is a game bug or a graphics driver bug.
I've fined a bugreport at apple for GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array. The game seems to demand that on Intel GMA950 cards. All in all the game's feature detection seems to be pretty broken, since they rely on vendor-specific extensions like GL_NV_vertex_program.
