Hi there,

I have Crossover 23 for mac and have installed the EA Play app, logged in through Xbox login as it’s part of game pass ultimate.

I can download C&C Remastered collection from the library but when I try to launch it gives me a ‘will need permission to launch’ message. I press ok and it then says ‘Failed to load content’.

I can install Sims 4 and play that fine from the launcher with no issues. Doesn’t come up with the ‘need permission’ message. So it doesn’t seem to be an error with EA Play app.

Anyone had any luck in getting C&C remastered working through EA App?

Do you have some news? I have the same issue. Tried to get a log, but there is nothing helpful (maybe because EA App starts a lot of subprocesses).
I guess, that this may be a copy protection issue or something similar.

I asked crossover support, maybe they find a solution.

I opened a ticket at codeweavers support. Their response:

Thank you for contacting Codeweavers Support. We have a bug filed for this issue, and are currently working on a fix.

So, hopefully this will be resolved in the next time.

As of yet, with Crossover 24, the EA App does not yet work. There's also the EA game service within Steam. So far the version which I have gotten working is the Steam Version of the Game. Perhaps version 25 could make a difference?

Just tried to run C&C Remastered Collection through EA App and have a smilar experience.
I have installed EA App and can run STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order succesfully.
I am running 24.03

I could install C&C Remastered Collection successfully but game crashes on startup.

I Start game and game requires permissions, I press OK.

I end up at a menu, same behaviour regardless of which game i choose.

I get the following error which translates to "There is a problem with the games installation, please reinstall the game"
