Doesn't work on Slackware 14.0

Hello. I tried to make it work under Slackware 14.0 but all I get is a black screen and it complains about not finding something in the missions folder. After installing the videocard patch described in a previous post it appears to start (sounds are audible) but the screen is all black. Please do not try to start it fullscreen or you will have to restart X.
