Deus Ex with 7.0 on a 10.4.10 iMac

Hey all,

Having some trouble. Deus Ex runs fine as long as I choose software rendering, but if I choose D3D it opens to a black screen. Music is on but there's no menu. It seems to run fine from there, but if I try to up the resolution from 640x480 it squeezes it into a box in the top left corner and cuts off anything that would be outside the box.

Any thoughts?
