so i installed ether saga with the crossover trial, but whenever i come to the log in screen where you choose server the game just crashes and that report bugs window pops up o.o' is this normal?maybe cuz im using lion and not snowleopard?o.o

oh and i tried to redownload it but the download window just freezes at "executing pre installtion actions" O__O'

Again, I assume you are referring to the PyLotRO login screen... Did you first define the game location using the "tools/setting wizard" pulldown? Note the Turbine Launcher WILL NOT RUN. You must use PyLotRO to launch the game.
The only version of CrossOver GAMES (CXG) which works with Lion is 10.1.2. CrossOver Pro and CrossOver Games are different downloads.

Are you using the CrossTie installer?
The download process for LOTRO takes about 6+ hours on a fast line, then it takes another 4+ hours for the game to install.

this was meant to be posted in ether saga forum sorry X'D have no idea how i ended up here O_O

The first time Ether Saga asks to update, select the server but say "no/cancel". Then, Ether Saga will check the client version (as opposed to the patch version) and will patch that instead. Now choose to update and you should be able to join.
