Installing Fallout 1 & 2 on Acer R11

So I downloaded the Crossover Beta on my Chromebook, and I've been having some odd issues getting the old Fallout games to run on my Chromebook. I'm using the newest versions from GOG, and neither have been able to complete.

Fallout 1 seems to go fine, installing DirectX and rebooting, until it reaches the "Installing Software and Dependencies." This part never completes, just displaying an endlessly cycling progress bar.

Fallout 2 displays an error in Crossover reading, "There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file." After selecting OK, the installation appears to complete, but when launching, it only gives options for File Explorer, Command Shell, and Wine Configuration. Is this right? It feels like something went wrong somewhere.
