Hey,

anyone else experiences that problem on a mac? Hold right mouse button and then double click left mouse. Here Guild Wars will be closed. This is VERY annyoing :(
Any ideas?

Very strange. This same bug was reported against Source-engine games (Half-Life 2, etc.) by another user. We have the bug entered in our bug tracker. Somehow, that combination of clicks is generating a window-close message (similar to Alt-F4).

If I recall correctly, this bug has already been fixed in our internal source but we never knew what fixed it. So, unfortunately, there's no simple patch I can supply. 😥

Is this something which results from your particular control configuration and habits? (It was for that other user.) Or is it a fundamental usage pattern with Guild Wars? In other words, can you easily work around it by just reassigning game controls so that you're never tempted to perform that combo?

nice to hear that it could already be fixed in source and that the bug is in your bugtracker.

It is not really a wanted combination, but could happen in a stressfull situation. Holding right mouse down is the default for mouse look and holding left mouse down is default for walking forward or left click somewhere to go there. In a stressfull situation it can easily happen that from a meant one click left, a double click happens and then guild wars will be closed.
So IMHO it is fundamental for default configured Guild Wars.
