Hi,
Why do you ask this question? I think if this game engine complains about
memory, it's usually complaining about -video- memory -- what OS/videocard
and crossover version are you using? What it the error you are seeing?
Typically, if turning down the ingame graphics settings resolves a problem
with something like this, it's video ram it's talking about.
Cheers!
Hi Don
It's Crossover version 8.1.3
The error comes when I try to play Star Wars The Force Unleashed using CrossOver
it says:
"Windows Virtual Memory must be enabled to play this game. Please look up "Virtual Memory" in Windows Help & Support for instructions on how to change the system setting"

Hmmm...that's a bit weird (I have a few HL-2 Steam titles and haven't seen
this error)....
I would actually advise you use the latest crossover-games-8,1,4 (upgrade
you current installation) and see if that fixes this problem.
If not, have a look at the following thread...see;

Umm...btw...how come you posted this on the HL-2 page and not the proper
page for Star Wars The Force Unleashed that I linked to above? Do you
have a problem with HL-2 as well?
Cheers!
Hi Don
I have tried updating to newest version but I still get the same error. And no, I only have the problem with Star Wars. Sorry for posting the wrong place.
Have you got any other suggestions that might work? Many thanks
Steffen
