crossover games 8.0.0

After I heard that crossover games 8.0.0 supported "jade empire", I happily bought a version of this game and installed it. Well, it opend the menu and I was able to configure the game, but I was unable to start it. I clicked the "start" button but nothing happend.
Is there any way to get this game started?

It starts fine for me (bought from Steam) but the models are all transparent and it is crashy.
