Where does my 2.16 ghz core 2 duo processor fit in?

So I guess this means that I will never be able to run this on my newfangled black macbook I bought in August 2008 like I can TF2?

If it has an intel X1300 graphics card, maybe.

It should run on your 2.16 GHZ c2d ..provided you arent using a intel integrated graphic card.
Any nvidia card above 6600 should work fine.

L4D isnt heavy on ram usage either .. as compared to tf2..

if yours is the ati graphic card x1600 with 1 gig or more ram ..it should run ..er...playable ( i got a umm bout 13 fps to 41 fps on linux)

What seems to be your problem ? Does l4d crash for you? or is there a black screen at menu ?

yeah, sorry I guess I didn't word it right. I just read over it and yeah.

Well its only a black screen if I enable GLSL, then when I took it off its just the Left 4 dead menu screen with no menu text. erghhhh

I know I have the system requirements, especially my graphics card, which is NVIDIA 9400

Btw ..did you enable it for all Hl2 mod games or ..only l4d?

Okok..um...lets get around to find out whats the error.

Do the usual routine check ...check for latest nvidia driver
next remake a new bottle ( you can back up steam game gcf files so no need to redownload later )

From there check if there is any more black screen..? if still have..:(

Than you cud try the launch options -sw -novid

sw is for windowed mode n novid is for no intro video.. ..

If all is not okay...its kinda useless guessing what is the error
therefore..it would be good if you can run a debug (:

OK so I'm trying the latest Nvidia driver thing but i don't know the Product Series and Product for my graphics card. I'm not sure if i enabled it for all HL2 mod games or just l4d, i enabled it in the steam bottle.

so..issit working :o?
