What is the best way of doing this or is it a bad idea?
Go to the crossover games bottle you have left 4 dead in.
Once your in program files go to steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead/left4dead/ then create a folder called addons and place your map(s) in there!
I figured this out last night, worked great!
