If I install Codeweavers to my hard drive install of Knoppix, which contains a version of Wine, is it necessary to keep the Knoppix version of Wine?

In other words, does Codeweavers use that?

Or does it use it's own version of Wine when it installs itself?

If it doesn't use the Wine version packackaged with Knoppix, can you delete the Knoppix version to free up disk space?

yes, you can remove the knoppix. crossover comes with its own wine packaged. btw, crossover doesnt yet run office 2k3
