Poor Quality Fonts in Excel2003

I'm using the latest 6.2version of XoverOffice in Xandros4.1. Excel seems to be running OK but for the life of me I can't get my old WinXp fonts to look decent in XoverOffice6.2. I have installed all my old WinXp fonts as my personal fonts in Xandros 4.1 AND copied the same set of fonts into the font directory of the Win2000 bottle used to install Office2003 (drive_c/windows/system/fonts - just as in the real world).

What else should I be trying ?
