Office 2007 Embedding Files

Hi,

I just donwloaded CrossOver to test its compatibilty with Office 2007, as I'm tired of running Parallels or Office 2011 to get connected to my company. I just can't get the Word 2007 to embedd Excel 2007 files even having the whole Office 2007 in the same bottle. is it possible to embedd Office 2007 files from one Office 2007 component into another? I need to have this answer to decide if I will buy or not CrossOver.
