Outlook 2007 updates

Hi all. I've searched and not found what I'm looking for, so I thought I'd just ask. I'm wondering if it's possible to install updates from Microsoft for Outlook 2007 when it's installed alone and not as part of Office. I've tried to install the service packs, but they fail to run claiming missing dependencies.

I never succeeded with that.
Luckily, since outlook 2007 there were few security risks on outlook, and most patches less significant.

  • same cannot be said about other products in the package.
  • the best solution is to use a newer install media, or slipstreamed - for those who do that..
