Insert videos in PowerPoint 2007 (Crossover 13.0.1)

I have tried to insert avi, wmv and mpg videos in a Powerpoint 2007 presentation under Crossover 13.0.1 and Ubuntu 14.04. The action fails, as powerpoint compains with the following message: "Powerpoint cannot select a movie from the selected file. Verify that the path and file format are correct, and then try again"

Any clues? Should I file a ticket?
