Folks, powerpoint full-screen slideshows break in fedora 20 / mutter-3.11 with gnome-shell

Symptom: after hitting f5 to go full screen, the full screen slideshow is hidden (it shows up in shell window selection when one hits the logo key, but it will not come to the front).

Bug is documented at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1047407

with three work-arounds:

  1. use something other than gnome

  2. downgrade to mutter-3.10.2

OR

  1. put
    "UseTakeFocus"="N"
    in [Software\Wine\X11 Driver] 1375421098
    of ~/.cxoffice/$BOTTLE/user.reg
