Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones Forum

Hey,
I'm currently trying to run this game on my mac using Steam.
When I start up the game it goes through the ubisoft title screens etc and then just as it is loading the main menu, it turns black and after pressing buttons it then proceeds to crashing.
Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this with Steam?

to make PoP run on my Mac with COG 8.1.4.

In addition you might want to change the registry in a way, so that only for PoP these changes are applied. Look e.g. here:

where the changes only apply to braid.exe. Find out how the name of the PoP executable is and apply the registry tweaks above only to this exe.

You do realize those instructions are only pertinent to the Steam situation?  

This is not a Steam based compatibility database entry -- you are encouraged to
submit a separate C4 compatibility database entry for the Steam version of this
title to keep information like this separate from the non-Steam version. If you
do this, the application title submitted should read;

'Prince of Persia: The 2 Thrones (Steam)'

The application URL should point back to the Steam page so related.

PS: The same is so for the Braid entry in C4 -- it should also have
it's own 'Braid (Steam)' compatibility database entry.
