I'm happy to report that Big Race USA works great with Crossover Games 10 on Snow Leopard. Maximum resolution is 1024 x 768. The higher resolution makes the game jerky and unplayable.

A few other notes.  This is with the GOG.com version.  I've installed to a Win98 bottle as there were several GOG forum threads complaining about performance on WinXP and I recall the game not playing well on WinXP back in the day.

Thanks for the tip. I can confirm that it works better (i.e., almost imperceptible lag) in a Windows 98 bottle than in a Windows XP bottle. I am also using the GOG version.

Unfortunately, I am running at significantly lower than top settings: 640x480, 65000 colors, high detail, intelligent + transparent display. This is on my 2010 MBP 13", with a 2.4 GHz C2D, 8 GB RAM, and a SandForce SSD.

It's still not bad!

Sad to say, this game isn't quite right on Crossover 11.2. Two major problems:

- Introductory menu runs super-fast.
- Audio buzzes throughout and game sounds are barely distinguishable.

I'm open to suggestions on tweaking the bottle settings.
