CUPS-PDF not working with Quicken

I just tried to print a PDF file, from Quicken 2014, and it appears CUPS doesn't work with Yosemite. Is there a fix for this?

Can you print to CUPS-PDF from a native OS X program? (Yes. I'm aware about OS X's native support of PDF) If you can then it's probably a wine bug if not, then maybe it's a CUPS-PDF bug. I seem to recall that there was a trick to make CUPS-PDF the default printer and then programs run under CrossOver (wine) would be able to use CUPS-PDF.
