After I created my character and the opening scene finished, the area is blank. The only visible features are some of the lights and the characters/enemies. I tried reopening the game, but no change.

After I created my character and the opening scene finished, the area is blank. The only visible features are some of the lights and the characters/enemies. I tried reopening the game, but no change.
Try turning off Fog Effects, it's done by pressing Comp > System > Options and under Graphics > Fog.
It might solve the problem, I know that some textures bugged up when I had fog on, it's gone when fog is off.
