OS X White Screen Of Death

I installed this via steam on Mac OS X 10.6.8 with Crossover 10.1.2 Win XP Bottle.

It froze on a white screen shortly after launching (I guess this is the intro movie bit). My mac was completely unresponsive and crashed. Had to hold the power switch to restart, never a good thing that, always risks a hard drive failure.

Oh well I wont be trying this game through crossover again, guess I'll stick with bootcamp on this one.
