Installed the game under the latest CXG Mac, ran the latest patch, and dealt with the DRM. The game launches to a black screen, although the sound is playing. The menus can be navigated blind, and a new game can be started, but the game runs pitifully slow; completely unplayable. I didn't even check to see if the mouse problem persists. Installed the latest D3D, no change. Applied the dll overrides suggested here, and the game crashes upon launch. Seems like a big step back.
