S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Forum

Hi,

I want to buy the crossover software for mac, to check if I can play stalker SoC (the first part of the game). So I download the codeweaver crossover for mac and installed it, insert the STALKER dvd and the codeweaver installer start, then I choose express install. The bottle creation part didn't fineshed, so after 1/2 hour I abort the installation.

Then I try a 2nd shot. The installer appear and the I choose the language. After round about 5 min the system was freezed, no kernel panic but I was not able to do anything, for example starting the activity monitor.

So is there anybody who had the problems or maybe a workaround?

Same thing here. Mac OS X 10.5.6 CX 7.2
For the people who got this working: was it a fresh install in a 7.2 bottler or was it a 7.0/7.1 install the got upgraded?

This is happening to me too! Every time I try to install it on Crossover 8.0, it just freezes after I pick an installer language. The frustrating thing is that people with the same computer (late 2008 unibody mbp) are getting it to work and I can't.
