It seems like the torrent download is no longer available so there is no way to install this game. Is there any other way to download the installer?

For anyone else interested, it seems that the client can be downloaded here: http://www.fileplanet.com/208701/download/Star-Trek-Online-Client
the good news is that it looks like the standard download client, now the only download client on the STO download page, works with CX G. That didn't used to be the case.
I'm just wrapping up some testing with the modified Crosstie File and then it'll go live. You'll still need to download the file, manually, from
http://www.startrekonline.com/download
And then when you run the tie file it should be detected automatically.
I'll post when that's live.
Ok, the new Crosstie is live.
There's also an updated "how to install" walk-through at the "Tips & Tricks" page to explain some of the differences, here. The main one is that CX G no longer properly detects the installation's completion (which we'll be working on):

It's possible they removed torrent download when Cryptic got bought by Perfect World.
