Anyone having issues with sound during movies or conversations?

I have it installed and running using my tips and tricks article

However I get no sound during movies or speaking to someone.

Combat and world sounds are working its only cut scenes..

Strangely I think its something to do with how my distro manages sound (I'm using OpenSUSE 13.2 with GNOME)
