new problem

for some reason Crossover games wont even read the starcraft CD anymore, an icon labeled Starcraft CD shows up, but thats just the mac version and wont isntall the pc version, i dont understand whats happening, didnt use to do this

This is independent of CrossOver. The CD is a hybrid Windows/Mac CD, and your OS is mounting the Mac side. The first tip for StarCraft II also applies to this case.

[I assume you're on Linux. If you're on Mac OS X, then: a) you probably want to use the native version, or b) if you really want to install the Windows version, there's a similar technique for mounting the Windows side of the CD under Mac OS X.]

It occurs to me that that StarCraft II tip uses the UDF file system type ("-t udf") and the Starcraft CD may be ISO 9660 ("-t iso9660") instead.

I get the message "no such file or directory" even though i just created it

Using the Terminal commands you posted doesn;t work for me either when trying to use crossover games with a hybrid mac/win cd.
