When installed, i try to run the application and what pops is a window saying Insert the CD etc.
the thing is the cd is in....
i [legally circumvent the DRM - http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/dmca] and the app fails to launch at all.
buggy.

Yups, thats right, i had at least a settingmenu for graphics (see screenshots). But after that it didnt launch.
Hmm, this may be the case for the original game, but I've been using the DRM-free version of the game (which includes all versions of Stonghold, none of which ask for the DVD) and it works well.
thats right, now it works, but we are a year further now :P so development didnt stood still :)
