I created the Crosstie for Syberia. I used the GOG.com installer to install the game into Crossover. Works great!
Important!!
Before you run the game you need to apply this fix below to avaoid a crash further on the game when you use a Musicbox in a cutscene in Syberia. The trigger for the scene was placing a voice cylinder into the music box with a little toy Hans and Anna on top in the factory. When I would drag the cylinder into the box it would have an error box pop up asking for the game CD to be inserted.
Here's the fix for the problem:
First go to crossover and in top bar click on "configure" --> manage bottles --> click the syberia bottle --> open c_drive
- Browse to the game installation folder. This can be, for example, C:\Program Files\Syberia1 - it really depends on where you had installed the game. Once you find it, open the folder.
- Open the "Video" directory.
- There is a folder named AN in there that contains the three files used in the cutscene.
- The three files are: C2_hansannab.syb; C5_hansanna.syb; C10_hansanna.syb - highlight those three files and copy them (either by dragging them there while holding right mouse button and then clicking on copy, or by pressing cmd + C and then cmd + V once you are in the directory) into the main Video folder with the rest of the video files.
