The beta release of TMG v8 installed and ran in Crossover 9.2 with a minor dll issue.However, the public release of v8.0 and later ones have an issue with the graphical installer. In short, v8.0 and 8.01 will not install in any version of crossover or wine. There appears to be no work around for this. I think this is a problem with wine/crossover which will be resolved but meantime, I am staying with TMG7.04. Remember that if you upgrade files to v8, it will be impossible to downgrade them back to v7.I think that v8.02 has just been released and I will try it in the latest Crossover shortly.
