Has anyone else had this problem? I was using uTorrent like a charm the first time I ran it, downloading at much greater speeds than Transmission or even Azureus, then after a reboot, uTorrent won't start up. The relevant part of the system.log is as follows:

I don't know why it has stopped working. Only the "Task error output" from the above is relevant, but it doesn't provide much info. If you launch uTorrent using CrossOver's Run Command dialog, and use the debug options to create a log and enable CrashReporter, then the log may be more informative. Note that I'm not promising to analyze the log for you, since this is unsupported software, but it might provide you with clues. 😉

Has this issue been fixed? Does anyone know if the current version (1.7.5) of uTorrent works? This program would be one of the biggest reasons for me to purchase CrossOver for Mac because it seems that not much work has been done by BitTorrent Inc. to port uTorrent over to Mac.

I guess I could download the trial version of CrossOver to see if it works. I just didn't want to install another bit of software just to see if one program works.

It's always and continues to work beautifully for me :D

I have tried utorrent as well. When I first install it, the program works fine. Then when I close the program and try to start it again, it runs into firewall issues. When I restart the computer after a while, then the program fails to show on the screen. Like, when I turn on the program, the window of uTorrent quickly flashes then turns off. So there is definitely something going on.
