Buggy but great game.

Linux ATI free drivers Ubuntu 12.04
Steam version works (no patches) but crashes often getting a "parameters invalid" error on level transitions. (Save before going in and out of a level). The game itself is apparently very buggy so crossover probably not to blame.
And boy it's a dark dark game (gamma I mean), what's up with that?
