WoW freezes Computer on Ubuntu 8.04

Just a heads up to anyone upgrading to ubuntu 8.04. WoW was working perfectly in ubuntu 7.10, but after I upgraded (via Internet) to 8.04, it now freezes my whole computer after 5 mins.

I'm not sure if i have to reinstall cxgames or what, but I'm gonna give that a try.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was actually an old problem I had fixed in Ubuntu 7.10, but on the upgrade, it got rid of the fix.

I had to disable apic (pass noapic to the kernel at boot up, by editing menu.lst), which was causing system freezes because of my cdrom drive.

So ya, cxGames works just fine on Ubuntu 8.04.
