3.0.2 crashing at login on Kubuntu 8.10 with ati card

Since 3.0.2 wow now crashes at the point of logging in. It works up to entering my passwd and selecting a character, but at some point during load it crashes to desktop with no error. I've updated all packages and drivers. Running an ati 2400HD video card.

Any info I can provide, just let me know.
