WoW was working, but now it's not.

I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 i386 on an AMD 64 with an Nvidia card and Nvidia driver. I had installed WoW with the first 6.0 beta and it worked just fine (except for a slight audio delay, but that's nothing to complain about). I then set up Beryl and XGL, however, come to find out, WoW doesn't work with Beryl/XGL. So, I undid all the changes for Beryl/XGL, but WoW still won't work. Running from the command line, I get the following (abbreviated) output:

wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0035b598 at address 0x7e72b3c9 (thread 0039), starting debugger...
WineDbg starting on pid 0x2f

Any thoughts?

I have Beryl (with nVidia Xgl driver support) installed and have no problems. I am not using Beryl, but that may rule out the possibility of libraries being updated with the installation of Beryl.

I ended up re-installing Crossover and the game. All is well so far, even with the 2.0.1 patch.

One thing i have found with the background downloader and updates with WOW lately
The background downloader will not start on exit no matter what the settings were.

but when the patch came out it downloaded sometimes you will get a error that it can not
write the patch or it will hang on trying to install the patch. To fix this just use the Terminate
windows applications and choose the bottle you used for WOW.

Then on the next start of WOW it will load and install the patches fine.
That could have been the problem when you installed Beryl.
